Ideal for large scale events, the Montgomery Suite is at the heart of the Stadium of Light.
Boasting high ceilings to accommodate large productions and a moveable stage and dance floor, this suite comfortably holds up to 700 guests* for dinner or 600 guests to view presentations or conferences, proving hugely popular for events including exhibitions, trade shows, annual dinners and award ceremonies.
Teaming up with the Executive Lounge by opening up the moveable walls, we can offer even more space, easily hosting around 90 exhibition stands. All of the adaptable event space on the first floor can link together for larger events, hosting 2,000 people in reception style and offering a major space for launches and gatherings.
Clients can also use the entire first floor space (1,459 m²) for the same event, to breakout and create smaller groups to accommodate a variety of themes or productions.

To really make an impression, the Executive Lounge can offer an eye-catching start to any event being held in the Montgomery Suite. Ideal for pre-event drinks receptions for up to 300 guests, a specially-designed moving wall can be opened up to reveal a complete dining experience as service is announced by your dedicated Master of Ceremonies.

history, this suite is located in the centre of the first floor of the stadium and
is adjacent to the Durham Suite, Banqueting Suite and Sports Bar.
The Magic Moments Bar provides an ideal meeting place, drinks reception area
or VIP lounge for up to 80/100 guests. It can also seat 30 guests in theatre-style
or 50/60 guests for casual seating. It can be used for small gatherings,
exhibitions or as a reception area for the adjacent suites.

The Sports Bar is a fantastic football-themed lounge, which boasts an abundance
of historic Sunderland AFC memorabilia. It offers a unique venue for corporate or

The room can hold up to 550 guests for a reception and seats 250 on a casual basis.
